LEON GOLDWATER

Leon was born & raised in Auckland, and has spent most of his life here.

Leon graduated from Massey University Veterinary School a good many years ago. Following a working holiday in England, he returned to NZ and furthered his interest in cats by passing the Feline Medicine exam for the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists.

Leon lives in Howick, with his wife Sue, toy poodle "Charlie" and 2 cats "Harrison & Whitney".

In his spare time, he is a keen road cyclist (he’s got Lance Armstrong worried), enjoys fishing, sailing, tramping and is a very enthusiastic gardener.

Monika has recently joined the team...originally from Germany and a graduate of Munich University, Monika spent the first years of her life as a vet working in a small animal charity hospital in London before settling in Hong Kong for four years. Upon her return to the UK, she worked in a variety of small animal practices, including a dedicated emergency service. For the last few years before coming to live in New Zealand she was a locum vet, mainly in the East Midlands region.
In her spare time, Monika enjoys travelling, hiking, water sports or just snuggling up on the sofa with a good book.

ESTELLE LOUARDUZZI 

Estelle grew up in France and Canada before moving to New Zealand in 1997.

Estelle graduated from Massey University in 2006 where she practiced in Auckland and Canada before joining the Howick team in 2010.

Estelle has had a passion for animals from a young age and loves spending her days working with them.  Estelle enjoys medicine and surgery and likes helping people with their pets.

Estelle lives in Howick with her 12 year old dog "Lady" and her fiesty cat "Tequila".  Estelle enjoys going to the gym, playing piano and when time allows, scuba diving and kayaking.

caroline elvy

Originally from Wellington, Caroline graduated from Massey University in 2008.  Since then she has worked in Fielding and Palmerston North and more recently down south in Queenstown before joining Pet Doctors Howick. 

Caroline is enthusiastic about her career and lives with her two dogs, turtle, budgie and is currently fostering two kittens. 

In her spare time she plays indoor netball, runs and is a keen cyclist.  Also an adrenaline junkie she is keen to skydive and get into the outdoors.
