MIKE GETHING
I am one of the partners and feel blessed to have found such a wonderful community as this in which to work. I started here in June 1975 and I really enjoy the close relationships I have made with clients over the years as well as the many medical challenges veterinary work offers. I am married to Pat and live with five Labradors, two cats, a mare, a pony and the constant wonder of frequent visits by our grandchildren.
I have enjoyed agility, field trials and showing at Championship level with my dogs and am currently the honorary veterinarian for both the Labrador club of NZ and the Golden Retriever club of NZ. I have been both Secretary and President of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Veterinary Association. Beyond work my interests are boundless and I believe that every day offers me opportunities to learn something new. In fact as time passes the more I realise how little I know and how much more there is to learn.

LEON GOLDWATER
Leon was born & raised in Auckland, and has spent most of his life there. He graduated from Massey University Veterinary School a good many years ago. Following a working holiday in England, he returned to NZ and furthered his interest in cats by passing the feline medicine exam for the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists.
Leon lives in Howick, with wife Sue & three rapidly-growing teenage children, one toy poodle and 2 cats. In his spare time, he is a keen road cyclist (he’s got Lance Armstrong worried), gardens, fishes, sails, and tramps. If not selected to ride in the Tour de France in the next few years, he might choose to grow potatoes on a larger scale the he does at present.
